Do you have light? Do you have poetry? What do you want your life to mean? If you were to die today, what would people say in your funeral??? Not that I like to think of morbid thoughts, but I do feel my time on this earth is valuable. Sometimes we take things for granted and we just waste in the most extravagant manner our chances. Our chances for what? To make a difference, to do something with our lives, to love our friends and family, to just live life…

So my discovery for the day, is to just discover or explore the possibility than one day someone will say something great about me…that my poem or my light will hopefully make someone else’s life better…one day…

So this Mother’s Day, my mom came up to visit me. I had planned all of these special activities—including a day trip to NYC and a Broadway Show—I was extremely exited. You see for the past two years, my mom and I had not really bonded. We had some family troubles and our relationship was worsening because we had to deal with all these other “issues”. But being able to just spend “fun” time together…I was able to rediscover the being that loves me the most!!!

In my discovery, I realized that in her most fragile state her love for me has made her incredibly strong. And that despite all, she is an incredible and beautiful woman…

So, I rediscovered the mother’s love that I had missed so much…and that is any greater gift than anything I could have given her…Happy Mommy’s Day…

Music is defined as an art of sound in time that expresses ideas and emotions in significant forms through the elements of rhythm, melody, harmony, and color by dictionary.com. With that definition in mind, music, in my humble opinion is the one thing that moves and motivates me…it makes me go the extra mile or it is the reason why I feel somber on rainy days…so my new discovery is Sidestepper…

Even though, I technically discovered this band about a week ago…I have known them subconsciously for a long time…I just have never paid any attention to them…

The band was formed in 1997 in Bogota by the acclaimed British producer Richard Blair and it is composed of 6 other members from different regions of Colombia…Musically this band is described as mix between London’s electronic beats and Colombian’s afro beats…visually it is just a road whereby you see the stars dance and take you to a enchanting tropical paradise that makes you feel all tingly and warm inside…
